Congratulations, Courtney Landoll! The newsletter team would like to thank you for all of your hard work not only for WASLA, but for the profession. Your tireless dedication has helped WASLA become stronger and more relevant as we evolve to become a model in a region of our country already known for sustainability and progress. On a personal note, I wrote Courtney an email several years ago when I was new to Seattle, and not only did she respond to my email, but she suggested I join a committee, remembered who I was in a city with thousands of newcomers, and later encouraged me to become editor of this very newsletter. Anyone can type a bullet on a list of goals that reads, "reach out to young professionals," but she is an illustration of someone with integrity that takes action and leads by example, making people feel welcome and appreciated. For that, we are grateful. All the best in your new endeavors!
