Though it may be hard to adjust to a regular forty-hour work week after the sugar and champagne coma from the Holidays, be consoled that 2015 will be filled with many intriguing and enriching opportunities. Educational sessions aplenty will be held at our annual conference this year in Wenatchee, where plenty of vitamin D will be radiating in the sunshine for those of us who are deprived in Seattle. There is also an irrigation course on the horizon in February, and a panel discussion about design in the “blank canvas” city of Detroit even sooner in January. Itching to meet new folks and change your scenery? You can participate in a design charette, and by doing so help the community of Kendall in April walk and bike to where they need to be. And, if you’re not ready to fully surrender to the daily grind just yet, a Happy Hour is in just a couple weeks at HBB. WASLA has you covered.

May 2015 be a great year for you and your landscape architecture community!

Cheers,

Stephanie Stroud
