Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annual commensurate with Experience

Hewitt is seeking a full-time landscape architect with 1 to 4 years of professional experience to join our Landscape Architecture studio.  Candidates should be creative and motivated with a passion for the profession as well as strong interests in Urban Landscape Architecture.  The right individual must have a commitment to professional growth, the ability to balance multiple tasks, and the ability to excel on production related work at all phases of design through documentation. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Our Staff Landscape Architects bring a spirited approach to their work and always look for opportunities to enrich projects’ design solutions while maintaining a strong architectural and urban response. 

• Articulate design concepts graphically in support of project and team goals
• Complete accurate production work through all phases of design
• Prepare site related conceptual design studies and construction details
• Participate in in-house and project team meetings
• Collaboratively contribute to all team, studio, and firm efforts
• A commitment to thoughtful execution of the work is essential

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• 1-4 years of experience with responsibilities for project support
• Minimum Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree
• Demonstrated proficiency with Revit is preferred
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment
• Fluency in English both written and spoken is required
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Must have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
