2019 WASLA Professional Award Winners

The 2019 WASLA Professional Awards were held on November 7th at Georgetown Ballroom in Seattle, WA. The ASLA Southern California based jury was Steven Lang, landscape architect with MIG, Inc. in Los Angeles; Jennifer Salazar, landscape architect with MIG, Inc. in Los Angeles; Steven Billings, landscape architect at Stephen Billings Landscape Architecture; Samantha Harris, landscape architect at Culture Horticulture, and; Deborah Deets, landscape architect at the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation Watershed Protection Program. The jury bestowed thirteen awards to Washington Landscape Architects for their outstanding work out of the 21 submissions received. Projects had to be completed by a landscape architect registered in Washington State but the work could be completed anywhere.
