Site Workshop is seeking a full-time, experienced landscape architect or designer with at least ten years’ experience. We’re looking for a teammate who can work confidently in our workshop environment, actively contribute to our collaborative design process, and proactively take advantage of opportunities to develop new skills, while continuing to grow as a leader both in the workshop and in the profession.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Site Workshop is based in Seattle with a landscape architecture practice focused on making life better for communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our projects include parks and civic facilities, private urban development and land planning, and healthcare and education. We work at every scale, from some of the largest developments in the region to small, grant-funded community-based projects. For every project, we creatively integrate nature into the built environment in ways that promote biodiversity and well-being.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate confidence in their abilities to contribute to the success of projects, develop concept sketches, produce construction documents, manage project coordination, and inspire teammates to deliver work at a high level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • degree in landscape architecture
  • 10 years professional experience in landscape architecture
  • strong design skills, from site design to detailing
  • project management experience working with multidisciplinary teams
  • thorough AutoCAD competence; Revit and 3D modelling skills desired
  • solid knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • demonstrated ability to produce high-quality illustrative plans
  • design ambition for every project, no matter how large or small
  • interest in contributing to business development and marketing efforts
