Work Progressing on the Center for Landscape Architecture

Construction on the Center for Landscape Architecture in Washington, DC

ASLA staff reports that work is progressing well on the construction for the world-class Center for Landscape Architecture. ASLA staff attends biweekly construction meetings and tours the construction site with the general contractor, the construction manager, and the architect.

Demolition is complete and framing in of most offices has begun. The VRV (new HVAC system, variable refrigerant volume) system and duct work is being installed.  The estimated date of substantial completion is September 21st 2016. The wellness room in the new Center will be named for the Washington Chapter in recognition of our donation to the building fund.
