Land Morphology, located on Seattle’s changing waterfront, is a growing landscape architectural firm. Our talented landscape architects, designers, and horticulturalists design exceptional landscapes, including botanic/public gardens, public spaces, commercial and institutional landscapes, and residential gardens and estates. Current projects include the Leach Botanical Garden (Portland) and Waterfront Seattle, as well as a variety of commercial projects and large-scale residences in Seattle and on the East Coast. Our team collaborates with architects, artists, interior designers, and clients to create landscapes that inspire people. We express our strong core values in our work. Designs are distinguished by exquisite detailing, artful features, sophisticated horticulture, historical precedents, sensitivity to place, and attention to detail during design, construction, and maintenance. This focus on creating beautiful, emotive landscapes must resonate with you. We are looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to manage a range of projects, both large and small scale. Your work will range from developing initial design concepts through construction administration. Please be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you will be working on multiple projects concurrently.

Job Requirements:

  • BSLA/BLA in landscape architecture required.
  • Five to seven years of applicable experience in a professional setting
  • Creative design skills
  • Ability to develop construction details.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and demonstrated ability produce CAD drawings in accordance with office standards
  • SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • Ability to manage people and projects
  • Demonstrated successful project management experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Desire to work collaboratively with others
  • Familiarity with local codes
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Excellent oral, written and graphic communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently or as a member of a project team.
  • Authorization to work in the United States
