PLACE is seeking talented Design professional(s) to lead and support our creative process. Job Requirements:Planting Designer(s) (12+ yrs. experience): Position(s) require a degree in landscape architecture, design leadership, and extensive horticulture knowledge. Comprehensive experience with planting design theory and composition, plant nomenclature, selection and procurement, and ecologically sustainable plant use. The ideal candidate will possess 12+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a passion for developing conceptual design to construction implementation; striking a balance between technical issues of regional vegetation requirements, soil types, climate, and coverage of physical and visual characteristics to aesthetic considerations including color, form, and seasonal variation. Professional licensure and ISA arborist certification are desirable.
