Chip Sullivan
Throughout history, built landscapes have evoked powerful responses in the minds of people. Tapping into the transformative powers of observation, so important in developing one's environmental consciousness, we will explore tools and ideas that create positive environmental change and build contemporary landscapes with the power to help create a sustainable future.
Landscape Architect, author and artist, Chip Sullivan, maintains a lifelong commitment to exploring the potential of the garden to create sustainable environments. His work, which illustrates the delicate balance between humans and nature, has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States, Canada, and Italy.
Sullivan's books include *Drawing the Landscape*, now in its third edition,* Illustrated History of Landscape Design*, *Garden and Climate, Daydreams of Frascati *(appearing in the anthology of Stephen Rodefer poems, *Call It Thought*.) Since 2006, Sullivan has produced a series of comics for Landscape Architecture Magazine titled, *Creative Learning*.
